Eric G. D’Hondt, D.D.S. is a partner in Greenwood Dental Associates and focuses on comprehensive restorative and esthetic dentistry. He has been recognized by his peers in 5280’s Top Dentists Issues every year from 2009-2025. Dedicated and compassionate, Dr D’Hondt brings superior technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to quality in every patient interaction. As a native of Detroit, Michigan, Dr D’Hondt completed his undergraduate and dental school training at The University of Michigan. He moved to Colorado in 1999 and did a one-year General Practice residency at the University of Colorado. He began his private practice in 1999 at Greenwood Dental Associates and became a partner in 2001. As a life-long learner, he has focused his continuing education on the study of occlusion, esthetics, implants, and veneers. In addition to his responsibilities at Greenwood Dental Associates, Dr. D’Hondt serves as an adjunct faculty member at The University of Michigan Dental school in the Department of Restorative Dentistry. He teaches 2 days a month in Ann Arbor, supervising dental students in all aspects of clinical dentistry. He also is a board member of The Dentist’s Professional Liability Trust, a malpractice insurance company representing over 1500 dentists in Colorado. Furthermore, he provides expert reviews as a consultant for the Colorado State Board of Dentistry. Dr D’Hondt has a special interest in oral cancer, and has lectured nationally on the dental management of patients with oral cancer. Dr D’Hondt is married to his wife, Micah and has two children Lilly and Bennett. In his free time, he enjoys running, biking, and skiing. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, Metro Denver Dental Society, Colorado Prosthodontist Society, and the Denver Academy of Clinical Dentistry.
Rachel L. LePera, DDS is a partner at Greenwood Dental Associates and focuses on overall comprehensive, collaborative care for her patients. She focuses on aesthetics, Bioclear composite bonding, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) function, occlusion, and dental implant restorations. She has been voted as one of 5280 Magazine’s Top Dentists every year since 2014. Dr. LePera completed her undergraduate studies and received her doctorate of dental surgery from the University of Iowa in 2007, where she was awarded the International Congress of Oral Implantologists Achievement Award. She has a passion for life-long learning and is an active participant in numerous reputable continuing education courses and well-respected study clubs. Dr. LePera takes pride in providing excellent dentistry and enjoys establishing strong inter-personal relationships with her patients, colleagues, and dental team. She believes in open communication and has an energetic, warm and compassionate personality she enjoys sharing with her patients. Dr. LePera is a member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, Metro Denver Dental Society, International Partnership for the Study of Occlusion, and the Denver Academy of Integrative Dentistry. She completed a mini- residency for dental sleep medicine in 2019. Dr. LePera also maintains an active oral conscious sedation certificate in order to help patients manage dental anxiety through use of various oral sedation medications. She became a Bioclear certified provider in 2024 and has enjoyed implementing the injection molding composite technique into her practice. In her free time she enjoys yoga, Pilates, running, reading, snowboarding, and loves spending time with her two children.
Deanna Brown joined Greenwood Dental Associates in 1998. She worked at the front desk until she became our office manager in 2009. Deanna excels at helping patients navigate their care and enjoys the long-term relationships she has formed with patients over the years. She is proud to represent our quality-driven practice and appreciates working with doctors who genuinely care about their team and patients. Patients appreciate Deanna’s competence and her warm, caring demeanor. Deanna is a Colorado native and enjoys being outside whenever possible. She loves spending time with her husband, two daughters and her 3 dogs and 2 cats.
